Our research into this Pattern has indicated that this rare Guinea is in fact unique, thus of the highest rarity. Normally such an exquisite piece would only be found in a Museum but fortunately this coin was privately acquired some time ago and has resided in a collector’s cabinet until now.
Struck by Conrad H. Kuchler the coins reverse decipts a crowned spade shaped shield within raised border. Struck in error from an unfinished punch with designs in first, third and fourth quarters facing the opposite direction.
A truly fascinating coin, offering museum quality and rarity.
